You are a TREASURE!
I met a new friend today. God brought us together. As I pondered on a verse to share about, the word, “treasure” came to my mind. HE brings treasures together when we WALK in HIS Spirit.
2 Corinthians 4:7
But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it will be evident that such overwhelming power comes from God and not from us. (CJB)
YOU have a TREASURE inside of you. YOU have been created by God and have HIS power inside.
You might feel broken. You might think you are cracked, but the Holy Spirit inside of you is POWER.
When you walk in the understanding that YOU are a TREASURE than everything that comes forth is from HIM.
So much of our lives today is based on feelings. It is a struggle to believe that we can be used by God because we think we are a broken clay jar. Or, we believe others see us as a broken clay jar. Or, we feel judged by others because of something we have done. Maybe they have a “right” to their feelings, maybe they don’t.
We need to remind ourselves that God does not see us as broken. He sees us a a clay jar with a treasure inside. A treasure of the HOLY SPIRIT that HE gave us!
When we BELIEVE that, we walk in HIS power. OVERWHELMING POWER that comes from GOD, not from us.
Do you BELIEVE this today? Do you KNOW you are a TREASURE?
