When you pass through water...
The book of Isaiah has so many amazing verses in it. The prophets had harsh messages for the people, but they also brought Words of comfort.
Isaiah 43:2
When you pass through water, I will be with you;
when you pass through rivers, they will not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire, you will not be scorched —
the flame will not burn you. (CJB)
Friends, it doesn’t matter what you are going through. It doesn’t matter what you have done. GOD is WITH YOU. HE is your source of HOPE and strength.
We will have trials. We will be in the desert. We will wander and have moments we wonder what is happening.
BUT… if we BELIEVE the Words of God, than we have to keep moving forward. This verse tells us:
I will be WITH YOU
THEY will NOT overwhelm you
YOU will NOT be scorched
The flame will NOT burn you
It doesn’t matter what is happening around you. If God can keep blessing the children of Israel with another chance, why wouldn’t He do it for you?
I know it isn’t easy when the waters are flowing fast. I know it isn’t easy when the river is moving and you think you can’t get out. I know that the fire is hot and you wonder if it will ever stop burning.
This verse should bring you the HOPE to keep going. The PROMISE that HE will NEVER leave you or forsake you. Claim that promise today.
