Thank You!

My brain went on hiatus again and even today as I begin to type I wonder... what should I write about?

I feel like I always need to have something "big" or "exciting" or "new" to share. Something I put on myself. I've forgotten that sometimes just a simple WORD is all we need.

So today, THANK YOU comes to my mind. Sometimes over used and sometimes not genuine, but when THANK YOU is spoken from the heart, with a name spoken behind it (meaning make it personal for the person you are speaking too) and a smile, I believe it makes a difference in the person it is spoken too. And when we have true gratitude in our hearts for someone, it will bring a blessing back to us.

Psalm 9:1-2

I give thanks to Adonai with all my heart.

I will tell about all your wonderful deeds.

I will be glad and exult in you.

I will sing praise to your name, ‘Elyon.

Imagine saying THANK YOU to God. We are made to bring pleasure to Him. Telling Him thank you through praise is the highest form of worship. And when we worship Him, we reap the rewards. This is the whole idea of Desiring God and Worshiping Him in Spirit and Truth.

Sometimes we have to look hard to find things to be thankful for, but there is something there. I pray you can find that something today and tell others, and your Creator (who LOVES YOU) THANK YOU!!!!
