Matthew 26:17-19
17 On the first day for matzah (Passover), the talmidim (disciples/students) came to Yeshua and asked, “Where do you want us to prepare your Seder?” 18 “Go into the city, to so-and-so,” he replied, “and tell him that the Rabbi says, ‘My time is near, my talmidim and I are celebrating Pesach at your house.’” 19 The talmidim did as Yeshua directed and prepared the Seder.
Passover... One of the three feasts required for the Jews to go up to Jerusalem.
Jesus knew this week was important. Tell them "the Rabbi" is the Words Jesus used. Rabbi is a teacher. Jesus, at that point, was known as a great prophet/teacher. Some, who heard Him speak, believed Him to be the Messiah.
I love the fact that God had each detail planned out. A man in the city was ready to host Jesus and the disciples. The disciples watched each step fall into place.
