I certainly hope I have not used this one before. I don’t have it listed, but even if I have, it is a great reminder.
Exodus 14:14
Adonai will do battle for you. Just calm yourselves down!” (CJB)
My favorite line is, “Just cam yourselves down!”
I laugh every time I read this. I just have to chuckle as I think about the Children of Israel hearing these words. And yet…
How many times do we worry, fret and get in a “tizzy” because of something happening in our life? How often do we throw a fit and get worked up about situations that suck the life out of us?
This verse is a simple, yet fun, reminder that Adonai is doing battle for us. IF we are TRUSTING Him, we don’t need to worry! IF we BELIEVE His words that He will care for us, we don’t need to “freak out!”
Just calm yourself down…
Relax…
Find PEACE…
Let GOD take care of things.
Easier said than done, but definitely worth remembering and applying.
