How to find Health!

Proverbs 3:7-8

Don’t be conceited about your own wisdom;

but fear Adonai, and turn from evil.

8 This will bring health to your body

and give strength to your bones.

Two short verses, but so much Truth. Once again we learn how to bring LIFE to our body.

"Don't be conceited about your own wisdom." Straightforward and hits the target. Conceited people are not fun to be around. They drag you down. It's clear why Adonai would tell us not to be conceited. Yes, you might know a lot, but there are ways to share your knowledge without being conceited.

What should we do instead? "FEAR Adonai and turn from evil." It totally takes the focus off of us and puts it on HIM. HE deserves the glory, not us. So, when we FEAR Him and turn from our ways, it helps point others to Him!

God tells us to repent. What does repent mean? Turn from evil...

If we truly fear Adonai we should want to repent. We should desire to turn from our evil thoughts and desires. We often want to point fingers at others for being "worse than we are," but that isn't want God wants. God wants us to FEAR and obey Him.

What happens if we follow this Truth???

HEALTH to our bodies and STRENGTH to our bones. So many people desire health and strength and yes, the gym or working out can help with that physically, but if our emotions and spirits are not strong, what does that bring to our bodies?

It's time for us to strengthen the inner man. We can do this by repenting and turning from thoughts and desires that are unhealthy. It can be accomplished by humbling ourselves before Adonai and LISTENING to Him.

Friends, my desire is for all of us to find LIFE and LIFE more abundant. Following the wisdom of the Spirit will bring this to us. Turn to HIM today and let HIS TRUTH bring health to your body and give you strength.

Love and blessings,

Rose
