He will make you firm...
This verse came to me as I looked for the word firm. Sometimes we just need a firm foundation. What is that foundation?
2 Thessalonians 3:3
But the Lord is worthy of trust; he will make you firm and guard you from the Evil One. (CJB)
Only the LORD is worthy of our trust. When we truly BELIEVE that HE is taking care of us, and we FULLY put our TRUST in HIM, than we find a firm foundation.
When we trust Him to PROVIDE for us, we will find that we are guarded from the evil one. The LORD is our PROTECTOR, PROVIDER, and the One Who lifts our head and heart when we are down and out.
Today, take time to LISTEN to Him. Take time to SPEAK His Words and let HIS TRUTH wash over you. Then you will have the firm foundation you desire. Then you will KNOW you are guarded from the evil one.
