Be Strong, Be Bold?
Today as I opened BibleGateway again this verse showed as the Verse of the Day:
Joshua 1:9
Haven’t I ordered you, ‘Be strong, be bold’? So don’t be afraid or downhearted, because Adonai your God is with you wherever you go.” (CJB)
I know that this verse is well known. It is heard often. My thought is, this is a verse that we need to KNOW and BELIEVE. Yes, I realize that I have used those words often in my blogs and writings, but I need you to understand the concept that God’s Words are TRUTH.
This verse is clear to us, Be STRONG, be BOLD? If you notice, there is actually a ? At the end of this statement. God is asking Joshua, Haven’t I “ORDERED” you to do this?
God ordered Joshua to stand up for ALL that God had taught him. God ordered Joshua to BE STRONG and BOLD.
We are not supposed to be afraid or downhearted. GOD is WITH you WHEREVER you go!
Adonai is YOUR God. HE has ORDERED YOU.
In the midst of all the struggles and heartaches, BE STRONG. BE BOLD. Walk in HIS Presence and share HIS LOVE with those you meet.
Claim it and believe it…
GOD is WITH YOU.
