Be Kind
Matthew 7:12
12 “Always treat others as you would like them to treat you; that sums up the teaching of the Torah and the Prophets.
I should have tied this verse in yesterday, and it doesn't fit with the next section. In my mind, that means that this one is by itself today and is the one and only simple thought for the day.
We teach our children this concept, and yet, we must stop and ask ourselves, "Do we follow this teaching?" Do we really treat others the way we would like to be treated?
Remember, Jesus wanted to make His teachings easy to understand. Don't make them more difficult than necessary. Be kind. Be loving. Care for yourself and others.
