Your KING is coming to you...
This week is what we call Passion Week. Our family follows the Hebrew Calendar for holidays and celebrates Passover. Today I want to look at a prophecy that Jesus fulfilled and completed when He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. Zechariah 9:9 Rejoice with all your heart, daughter of Tziyon! Shout out loud, daughter of Yerushalayim! Look! Your king is coming to you. He is righteous, and he is victorious. Yet he is humble — he’s riding on a donkey, yes, on a lowly donkey’s colt.

I am the BREAD of LIFE...
A friend and I were talking today and I shared with her about the Bread of Life so I decided to do my verse about this… John 6:35 Yeshua answered, “I am the bread which is life! Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever trusts in me will never be thirsty. (CJB) There is a very amazing insight about this verse. I learned about it when we lived in Israel. We all know that Jesus was born in Bethlehem. In Hebrew this is knows as Beit Lechem which is House of Bread. Be

Set them (YOU) apart as HOLY...
Friends… I want you to know today that God set YOU apart. Several weeks ago I read from a prayer that Jesus prayed before he died. John 17 is a powerful chapter and I know that if you read the whole thing you will be blessed. Today I chose to look at verse 17: John 17:17 Set them apart for holiness by means of the truth — your word is truth. (CJB) Jesus prayed in the garden that YOU would be set apart as HOLY. Do you believe that? Do you KNOW that YOU are chosen to be HIS? Wh

The Word in all its RICHNESS...
Today is a Sunday, but no matter the day of the week, the verse today should encourage us to GIVE THANKS! Colossians 3:16 let the Word of the Messiah, in all its richness, live in you, as you teach and counsel each other in all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude to God in your hearts. (CJB) The favorite part of this version of this verse is, “in all its RICHNESS.” The WORD of God is RICH in TRUTH. The NIV says, “Let the message of Christ

The Truth will set you FREE...
A little over a week ago I had conversation with a friend and a verse about truth came up in our conversation. I have been pondering on it since. She had some interesting points. I decided to share about this verse today… John 8:32 you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (CJB) What one needs to read is the verse before: So Yeshua said to the Judeans who had trusted him, “If you obey what I say, then you are really my talmidim (disciple) (CJB) Personally, I

Heard from the beginning...
Today’s verse is one that popped up in my FB memory yesterday. It struck me in a different way this year because of many things I have learned. I knew immediately that I wanted to share about it, but I also needed time to ponder on what exactly to address. I pray that the video I did explained what I was thinking. I also pray that this blog will share a bit more. The verse is from I John 2:24-25 Let what you heard from the beginning remain in you. If what you heard from the b

The Word of our God will stand FOREVER!
Today as I was busy preparing for Thanksgiving I felt led to listen to Fernando Ortega. One of my favorite songs of his is the following verse from Isaiah 40:8: The grass dries up, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand forever.” Things on this earth will always go away. Nothing is made to last… The one thing that gets me through my day is the Word of God. It will always lift my spirit and bring peace to my soul. Recognize it today: only the Word of God has ever

God's Promises are STILL true...
His Promises are STILL true… Genesis 28:15 This morning in our Bible time, this verse stuck out to me. Our family reads through the first five books of the Bible every year. Each time another verse, or chapter, impacts me. This morning it was Genesis 28:15: Look, I am with you. I will guard you wherever you go, and I will bring you back into this land, because I won’t leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” (CJB) There are many verses in the Bible about God bei

God wants to DWELL with YOU
One of the first verses I saw this morning was from Revelation. It was on my FB wall as a memory from several years ago. It addressed the Alpha and Omega. My initial thought was to speak about that. However, during our morning Bible Time I shared the verse from John 1:14: The Word became a human being and lived with us, and we saw his Sh’khinah, the Sh’khinah of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth. When I finished reading it, one of my daughters asked me what Shekh
